Legal Form and Funding
The Institute for Research on Music and Acoustics is a non-profit, non-government, charitable organisation - founded according to court decision number 12371/89. It is formally recognized by decision of the Ministers of Finance and Culture as an official public institution promoting culture.
Funding comes from public funds, the European Union, private sponsors, the development of cultural and educational products and the organization of cultural activities (concerts, music events, conferences, music competitions etc.)
